Beverly K. Eakman
Hello and welcome to my web site!

I am happy to report that my fourth book, WALKING TARGETS: How Our Psychologized Classrooms Are Producing a Nation of Sitting Ducks (Midnight Whistler Publishers) is now available.

Walking Targets
Walking Targets picks up where my previous book left off (Cloning of the American Mind: Eradicating Morality Through Education, now considered "the classic" on education policy), and shows just how much of what I predicted in 1998 has already occurred.

Walking Targets points to an agenda that begins with increasing control by government of the childrearing process, luring parents of babies and toddlers back into the workforce with promises of paid day-care. It continues with force-feeding young people a pseudo-education from "approved" pre-school programs through "accredited" elementary schools, junior highs, high schools, colleges and beyond — via something called "lifelong learning."

Worse, government policy has led to normalization of bogus disease labels and psychiatric drugs. To cap it all off, quantum leaps in computer technology now allow agents of government and their often unethical partners in the private sector to track, monitor and alter viewpoints they don’t like through mandatory changes in curriculum, something that was illegal just a few short years ago.

Kudos for Walking Targets

E. Ray Moore, Chaplain (Lt. Col. USAR Ret., Director, Exodus Mandate)
"Beverly Eakman astutely chronicles the psychological abuse taking place in the public-school classroom with impeccable credentials and incontrovertible conclusions."

The Honorable Karen S. Johnson, Arizona State Senator
"…this book hones in on the real problems with education today. No parent should enter the public school system before arming themselves with Walking Targets first. This book is the best parent guidebook there is on navigating the public school system."

The Honorable Samuel Rohrer, PA House of Representatives
"Beverly Eakman has opened doors to truth once again. No one has conducted more thorough research exposing that broad attack on our children than Bev. Walking Targets is a must read for every parent, educator, and public policy analyst."

Phyllis Schlafly, columnist; president and founder, Eagle Forum; talk show host
"Eakman … points out that the failure to teach basic civics has created a generation of voters to whom half-baked socialist ideas sound plausible and convincing…. Walking Targets paints a frightening picture of a society where children are less and less equipped to resist tyranny, at the same time that data gathering, profiling and surveillance make tyranny a more … present reality. The author's vivid writing style and constant use of stories and examples make the book as interesting and readable as it is thought-provoking and disturbing."

Tom DeWeese, President, American Policy Center
"For more than a decade Bev Eakman has been sounding the alarm to warn us that the Education Establishment is stealing the minds of a generation of children in order to create a wrenching transformation of our society. Her books, speeches and articles have chronicled how government-appointed (and self-anointed) child experts have now created the perfect global citizens of tomorrow: anti-property, anti-industry, undiscerning, global-village idiots. Bev Eakman refuses to let them get away with it without a fight."
