Brief Bio:
Beverly taught in public schools for nine years, starting in 1968. She was a Science Editor and Writer at NASA. In 1977 she wrote a technical piece for “Roundup,” the official newspaper of NASA, "David, the Bubble Baby.” Beverly has worked as a chief speech writer at a number of national organizations and federal agencies, including the Commission on the Bicentennial for the U.S. Constitution. She has written several books, including Cloning of the American Mind: Eradicating Morality Through Education.
Beverly lives in a suburb of Washington, D.C. with her husband of 40 years, David Eakman, an aerospace engineer/scientist. She is a graduate of Texas Tech Univ. (1968); graduate work at Univ. of Calif., Irvine and Univ. of Houston.

Educator: 9 years: English, Literature, Debate; 7th grade remedial through 12th grade honors and debate team, 1968-1974, 1979-1981. Wrote an English grammar curriculum for foreign students. Science Editor, Technical Writer and Editor-in-Chief of official newspaper, National Aeronautics and Space Administration, 1974-1979.
Chief Speech Writer: For the late Chief Justice Warren E. Burger, Commission on the Bicentennial of the US Constitution, 1986-1987; for the Director of Voice of America, 1987-1989; and for U.S. Dept. of Justice (DOJ), 1991-1993. Writer-editor, DOJ, 1994-2004.
Author: Four books on education since 1991, including the internationally acclaimed Cloning of the American Mind: Eradicating Morality Through Education (Huntington House 1998), in third printing, translations pending in French and Spanish; the manual How to Counter Group Manipulation Tactics.
